Herbs of Indiana Hike
Let me teach you all about those herbs in my upcoming herb hike: Herbs of Indiana.
We’ll discuss plant identification, of course, but also harvesting ethics- when to pick a plant & when to leave it. We’ll cover not only how & when to use each plant medicinally but also how to prepare them to get the most benefit.
This class will be held on my 30 acres of property so we’ll get to see lots of different kinds of herbs:
common yard weeds
culinary herbs
understory forest herbs
Medicinal mushrooms
herbs in my garden
invasive but medicinal species
& native plants that grow wild around here
There will be two options for the Herbs of Indiana Hike:
Tuesday, May 27th
Friday, May 30th
Both from 6-7:30pm on Hodgin Rd. After you sign up I’ll send an email with directions & details.
